How to reset your Cisco Unity Voicemail PIN: 

PIN Requirements are as follows:
Minimum PIN length: 5 digits (for example, 94103)
PIN expires: every 180 days
PIN can be reused after "one" change (you can change to a new PIN, then change back to previous PIN)
PIN should not be the same or contain in order, or in reverse order, the numbers of your primary phone extension
PIN digits should not all be the same number (for example, 99999)
PIN digits should not be sequential in order (for example, 12345 or 54321)


To change your voicemail PIN, please follow these instructions:


From your Cisco desk phone:
If you have multiple extensions, press your phone extension button first then
Press the "Messages" Button

Enter your PIN followed by pound "#"
After the system says your recorded name, Press: 431
Follow the voice prompts to change your PIN



From outside of the system:
Dial 1-628-652-0020, when you hear the automated greeting...
"Hello, Cisco Messaging Connection System", immediately press the star key " * "
Enter your ID (10 Digit Phone Number ie. 4158311234), followed by pound "#"
Enter your PIN followed by pound  "#"
After the system says your recorded name, Press 431
Follow the voice prompts to change your PIN
